Alela Diane releases new single "Kids, Cats & Dog"

Wednesday, 4th November 2026

We are thrilled to announce that Alela Diane will be releasing an Expanded Edition of new album "Who's Keeping Time?"

Continuing its powerful and moving tone, this expanded edition's first outing is with new single “Kids, Cats & Dog”, which is out now. In her one-of-a-kind enchanting style, Alela crafts a tender reflection on family, home and companionship. Evoking shades of John Prine and Iris DeMent, Alela sings in a beautifully homespun manner across a warm guitar strum, with Kids, Cats & Dog continuing to carry the intimate, warm and tender feel of Who’s Keeping Time?.

Listen to "Kids, Cats & Dog" here, and pre-order the Expanded Edition of "Who's Keeping Time?" here.

Alela Diane is currently on the final European leg of her European tour. What a few months it’s been for this record. Catch her on her remaining dates - tickets here.
