Andrew Combs releases 'The Sea in Me' the second single from upcoming album

Andrew Combs has released the second single "The Sea In Me" from his stunning new album “Dream Pictures” - recorded in his hometown of Nashville with pals Dom Billett and Spencer Cullum and set for release on August 23rd. Combs commented “I find it sort of hard to explain this song because on the surface it’s low stakes writing. Not in a bad way, but it’s a subject matter that I and others have tackled many times – love gone wrong/heartbreak. I had the chorus for years but knew there was something special behind the line, ‘I’m tired of the sea in me.’ It felt like a great visualization of the churning and burning humans feel pulling them in different directions at all times. I was thinking of my late teens and early twenties when wanderlust took hold of me and I decided that my roots, and relationships, and even my identity were all wrong – that I wouldn’t be tied down to one person or idea.”
