"anything
on Loose is good" - Mojo, July 2008
“Loose has an abundance of riches - their output
has shamed many majors” - The Daily
Mirror
Loose Music is the bastard son of Vinyl Junkie
- a vinyl only label set up in 1994 by Tom Bridgewater.
Loose is now Europe's premier americana and alt country
record label.
"Loose has surrounded itself with
a dozen or so artists and bands who are like discoveries
waiting to happen" - Rolling Stone (Germany)
Since 1998 we've released music by the likes of Giant
Sand, M Ward, The Arlenes, Inara George, Neko Case, Blanche,
Willard Grant, The Felice Brothers and The Handsome Family.
"I was beginning to think that creativity in the
country end of the American underground was taking a breather,
until I heard the latest offering from the cutting edge
Loose label" - The Guardian |
