The R.G.Morrison

SXSWLoose will be packing our cowboy boots and Berocca next week as we head on down to Austin, Texas, for this year’s SXSW.

Find us co-hosting Mojo’s Bootleg BBQ, where we’ll be hard at work, representing British Underground. If you’re fortunate to be out there yourselves, make sure you come and join us. It’s held at our favourite bar in the world, the Johnny Cash-themed Mean-Eyed Cat.

This year’s SXSW sees three Loose bands playing the event – The Felice Brothers, Hurray For The Riff Raff and The R.G. Morrison. For a full list of where and when you can catch them, check out our special SXSW page over HERE.

RG in The Drift Record Shop

decent amount of RG news this week.
We can offer you the opportunity to view a new video for “…Introducing Diamond Valley” HERE, which premiered earlier this week on AUX.tv. The video was shot by RG, and his good friend and UK promo director Paul Ross Newton.
Not only that, but also THIS. That would be a FREE DOWNLOAD of that very track. Good isn’t it? Yes. Well we have just 8 super special, individually numbered, hand painted, hand packed, lovingly crafted, 11 tracked, highly recommended, limited edition copies of the RG Morrison album left in stock. Then no more. Get HERE quick.
The band can confirm that they are showcasing next month at Canada Music Week and also in Austin Texas for SXSW. More details on SXSW next week. Joining the band for all Americana dates is Alex Neilson of Trembling Bells (not to mention drummer extraordinaire to Bonnie Prince Billy, Baby Dee and Six Organs of Admittance).
Hope everyone likes the nice new photo of RG, posing amongst the shelves of his Drift Record Shop down in Devon. We like it. Caption competition anyone?
