Check out the new issue of Uncut magazine – it comes with a free CD featuring two Loose tracks – Deer Tick’s Main Street and Dawes’ Peace In The Valley. (The Dawes track is taken from their debut album North Hills, which we’ll be releasing at the beginning of June.)
In addition to the covermount CD, there’s a pretty great review of Deer Tick’s London show. Click on the image to have a read. We’re rather proud of “Intern Ellie” for providing Uncut with the featured photo of John McCauley. Nice one Ellie!

During their time in Paris, Dawes stopped by Fargo Records to have a chat and browse the shelves. Fargo filmed the afternoon, along with an acoustic version of “Time Spent in Los Angeles,” and a cover of “Too Much Between Us,” a track off of Procol Harum’s A Salty Dog which Taylor had singled out earlier.
The video, part of Fargo’s Blue Velvet Sessions, can be seen here, and we really suggest you check it out.
While Tay, Wylie, and Griffin battled an unfortunate case of food poisoning that night, Taylor took the stage solo. You can check out this great video of him performing “A Little Bit of Everything” here.

It’s not just our opinion that Dawes’ shows are worthy of a ★★★★★ review, but we think it’s a fairly safe bet to say that anyone who witnessed the band play their sold out shows at London’s Borderline and Hoxton Bar & Kitchen last week would most likely agree. Nice to see that The Mail On Sunday are backing us up on that. Check out their little review of The Borderline show below.

Dawes were in session and being interviewed live on Dermot O’Leary’s Radio 2 show this afternoon. Did you miss it? No worries – listen again option is available here for the next week.
Taylor, Wylie & Tay played a beautiful acoustic version of Time Spent In Los Angeles, followed by an equally beautiful version of Kris Kristofferson’s Sunday Mornin’ Comin’ Down. Go check it out!
